2024 Fun Run/Walk & Long Puck

We would like to thank everyone who came out to support our 10K & 6K Fun Run/Walk. Before the run kicked off at 12 we had a Juvenile Long Puck Competition.

Huge thanks to all our stewards who lined the route, our motor bike and electric bike marshals, our safety cars, all our adult & Bord na nÓg coaches who looked after the long puck, those who helped with event registration & refreshments afterwards.

Thanks to our photographer Sean, to Joe & Kathleen & members of our club committee for the organisation. Also to Cappawhite Community Council for the use of their facilities.

Well done to Barry Hartnett of Dundrum Athletics Club who was first home in the 10k. The 6k went down to the wire as Paddy Julian was pipped at the finishing line by his son, Rocco! Congratulations Rocco!

Special word of thanks to Walsh Engineering for their generous donation and for leaving the road in safe condition. Also to Ryan’s Centra for their kind donation.

It was a fantastic day and a donation of €1200 will be made to Critical Air Ambulance, a wonderful cause, we hope you all enjoyed it!
