2023 Adult Medal Presentation
On Saturday evening we held our 2023 Adult Medal Presentation in Cappawhite Community Centre.
Medals were presented to players of the following teams:
2023 West Intermediate Hurling Champions
2023 West Junior B Hurling League Champions
2023 West U21A Football Champions
Prior to the medal presentation, players, team mentors and members of the Club Committee were treated to a lovely meal. Thanks to MJ Buckley for top notch food as always.
Thanks to our Life Presidents, Paul O’ Neill and Liam Treacy for presenting the medals. Two men that have dedicated their lives to the Club and still do to this day.
Thanks to Noel (Chairman), Paul (Life President) and Michael McCarthy (Int. Hurling Manager) for their few words. Despite all the great moments on the field in 2023, Michael noted that the Intermediate Player’s visit to John Minogue’s house after the West Final win was a stand out moment, and John is looking forward to being involved in 2024!
Special thanks to Kathleen Kiely and to all involved in organising a brilliant evening. The room was well decorated in Cappa colours! Roll on 2024!
