Cappawhite are through to the semi-final of Berties Bar Dundrum, Crosco Cup following their six point victory over Sean Treacys at Cappawhite on Tuesday evening.
The home side got off to the better start and led by 1.5 to 0.1 after ten minutes, the goal coming from Dara McCarthy. Sean Treacys gradually got back into the game and a goal from Darragh Kennedy and two points from placed balls by Pat Dawson had the deficit down to two by the quarter hour mark.
With Dara McCarthy, Willie Barry and David Buckley in fine form, Cappa kept the scoreboard ticking over. Treacys best spell came in the five minutes before the break and a goal from Mikey Feehan left the two points between the sides at the break, Cappawhite 1.11, Sean Treacys 2.6.
Treacys got off to a better start after the break and points from Pat Dawson and Brian Carey eased them to the front. Willie Barry got in for the home sides second goal at the three quarter mark and pushed on for the final quarter, registering five unanswered points coming down the straight.
Cappawhite now play Kickhams in the semi-final.
