Scór na bPáistí
We know that there is great talent among the children of this parish and to help celebrate and develop this, Cappawhite GAA is holding a parish final for Scór na bPáistí on Sunday 16th of February at 3pm in the Cappawhite Community Centre.
Children can participate in the following:
– Figure dancing 💃
– Solo singing 🎤
– Recitation / Storytelling 📖
– Instrumental Music (3-5 participants) 🎻
– Sean-nós dancing dancing 👯
– Question time 🧠
– Novelty act (3-8 participants) 🎭
– Ballad group (3-5 participants) 🎙️
– Set dancing 👯♀️👯♀️
The winners will represent Cappawhite in the West Final to be held around mid-March 2025.
We would encourage all primary school children, regardless of age, to use this opportunity to get up in front of their parents and friends to develop their confidence and ability. There will be trophies and medals for the winners and runner ups and every child who participates will be encouraged and praised for taking part.
Note: For the Question Time, this will be done individually at parish level to select a team of 4 for the West Final. It will be done in table-quiz type format.
