The Inter-Firm All Ireland Intermediate Semi-Final saw two Cappawhite men go head to head. Well done to Sam who scored 1-1, best of luck in the final. Hard luck to Sean.

H&MV Engineering are through to an All-Ireland Final meeting with Clancy/Clantech from Tipperary after putting in an impressive performance to defeat John The Baptist School at Clarecastle on Thursday night.
Paul Ryan opened the scoring for H&MV inside the first minute. Peter Morrissey levelled the game when he fired over a free after 2 minutes. Kieran Morris put H&MV back in front from a free after 3 minutes. Good play from Paudie Greene created a goal chance for Kieran Morris after 7 minutes and Morris finished well to open up a 4 point lead. Jack Fallon scored a second goal for H&MV after 10 minutes and the lead was out to 7 points. Morrissey pulled a point back for John The Baptist from a free after 11 minutes. Paudie Greene scored a third goal for H&MV after 12 minutes to open up a 9 point lead. Morrissey fired over his third point to reduce the lead to 8 points. Points from Morris, Ryan, Fallon and Greene increased the H&MV lead. John The Baptist responded with points from Morrissey and Brian Heavey. John The Baptist went for a goal from a free before half time but a well struck shot from Heavey was saved by Ciaran Shortt.
John The Baptist tried hard to get back in the match early in the second half but a goal from Sam Carmody on 44 minutes ended any chance they had of making a comeback. H&MV finished the game strong to run out convincing winners in the end.
