Golden Kilfeacle made it two wins from two outings as they overcame the challenge of Cappawhite at Golden on Tuesday evening. They trailed by four points at the break, 1.5 to 2.6, the goal coming from Jack Bergin after eighteen minutes. Cappawhite’s Anthony Barry got in for two goals in the five minutes before the break to give them a four point advantage.

The home side upped their game after the break and a goal after eleven minutes from Christopher Ryan brought them back in front. Jack Bergin added a third three minutes later, before the visitors crashed home two goals in quick succession around the eighteenth minute, the first from Anthony, who completed his hat trick and the second from Brian G. Buckley. Sam Hall wrapped up the game for Golden with a fourth goal late on.
