Cúl Camp
Another brilliant week at Cappawhite Cul Camp which was topped off with a visit from Conor Martin & the Munster & All Ireland Minor Cups.
Thanks to Conor for his inspiring words to the boys & girls & for handing out a small treat to everyone.
Thanks to Conor Bowe who called on Monday and did the Fiserv Crossbar Challenge. Well done to Fiachra who won the challenge.
The week was rounded off on Friday afternoon with ice creams for all which were very generously sent down to the field by Shane & Breda in Ryans
Centra, Cappawhite. Oh and of course the water fight as well as the ice creams meant everyone went home cooled down after such a warm week.
Huge thanks as always to our Bord na nOg officers, Ned, Owen, Sean, Liam, all the coaches, the volunteers from both the GAA & Cappa LFC & all who helped in any way over the week.

McGrath’s Pharmacy Parish League Finals
The finals of our U8 & U11 Parish Leagues took place on Sunday 9th October. Over 100 children have enjoyed hurling and football games each week during the league.
The club would like to thank Joanne of McGraths Pharmacy, Cappawhite for her financial sponsorship of our 2021 and 2022 Parish Leagues.
Each child received a medal, a pair of sports socks and a goodie bag.
The winning captain of the U11 Hurling winning team, Foireann “Glassdrum” was presented with the Corn Micheál O’Ceallaigh by the Kelly Family, Philipstown. This cup was presented in memory of the late Larry Kelly, former Cappawhite and Tipperary player who passed away earlier in the year.
The cup was originally presented to the West Board in memory of Larry’s late father and was recently retired. We are honoured to have the cup back in Cappawhite. We were delighted to have Larry’s wife Helen as well as his son and granddaughter join us.
Thanks again to Joanne and all at McGrath Pharmacy. Please support our local pharmacy as our club are very grateful for their support.
