U5s training – Fun, Games & Fundamental Movement
Great numbers for fun and games at the resource centre.

A great way for the kids to learn about exercise and get an introduction to Gaelic Games in a fun setting.

Our U9s who played a match v Doon in the Cappa. Thanks to the Doon players & mentors for coming over & to our coaches & parents.
Our U7s had a great morning at their blitz in Rockwell College with games against Sean Treacys, Moyle Rovers, Ballybacon, Carrick Swan, Mullinahone, Ballylooby and Skeheenarinky.
All deserved their post match snacks after the games. Thanks to their coaches & parents.

Cul Camp 2023.
What a great week we had & we managed to mostly escape the rain.
Thanks to all our coaches, our volunteers & the parents who helped out & who made the week such a success. Thanks to Cappawhite Ladies Football Club for their support as always & to Cappawhite community council who had made the Community Centre available to us if needed.
Thanks to our West Intermediate champions who bought the Cup to camp on Monday.
Thanks to Tipperary GAA for arranging for Brian O’Mara to call to see us on Tuesday. Thanks to Sean, Cecilia & Kathleen for photos. A huge mention to Ned Carmody, our Cul Camp Co-Ordinator for all his work this week. He made sure the camp ran smoothly all week – thanks Ned. We know a lot of work goes on behind the scenes.
The week ended with the annual water fight & we were visited by Ryan’s Centra, Cappawhite with an ice cream for everyone. Thanks to Shane & Breda Ryan for their generosity. It was a lovely end to the week!

Our U11s travelled to Pairc UiChaoimh today to participate in the Munster U11 Blitz.
A brilliant day had by all. Thanks to David Byrne GDA & Tipperary Games Development for organising.
Huge thanks to all of our own coaches & the parents who helped out. All topped off with some birthday cake. A great day out for the lads!

Dillon Quirke Foundation – U9 Hurling Blitz
A day not to be forgotten for our U9’s today as they took part in the Dillon Quirke Foundation Hurling Blitz in Semple Stadium along with hundreds of other young players from all across the county. What a fantastic experience.
Well done to our players, & thanks to their coaches & parents & to all in Tipp GAA & the Dillon Quirke Foundation.
Thanks to Murroe Bother GAA Club for hosting our U9s & U11s at the Reale Cup Memorial Tournament. The children had a great morning and were very well looked after. Thanks also to our own coaches & parents

Our U5s finished out the 2023 season with an indoor session in the Resource Centre during the week.
Each child received a medal & very special Cappawhite GAA sliotar from the club as a reward for all their great work this year.
Huge thanks to their coaches Emma, Paddy, Breandan, Brian, Keelan & the many parents who helped out so wonderfully during the year.

McGraths Pharmacy Cappawhite Parish League
Our 2023 Parish League took place over the last two Sundays. There was a brilliant turn out amongst our U7s, U9s & U11s.
On Sunday last 15th October the U11 Parish League Final was played out. Following a blistering encounter with both sides showing great skills & ability they could not be separated- a Draw.
The Micheal O’Ceallaigh Cup was presented to the captains of both teams by Joanne McGrath of our local McGraths Pharmacy
Thanks to Joanne for her support of our Parish League. We are very grateful. After their matches all of the U7s, U9s & U11s received their Parish League medal, a special Cappawhite GAA crested sliotar & a goodie bag.

December
Earlier in the week, our u7’s finished out their year with a ball wall session and a pizza party in the hall afterwards. Thanks to the players, parents and coaches – Anne Marie Crowe, Paul Fitzgerald, Sean O’Shea, Sean Ryan(Ned), Ger Ryan (P), Ned Carmody, Noel Kelly and George Kelly for all their hard work over the last few seasons.
